Running is a sport that doesn't come cheap. With my last run finishing my old trainers off I have just invested in a new pair £105 later. The sweatshop are amazing though and pay proper attention to getting the right trainers and you can even take them back if they are no good once you've run in them.
It's been a while since I ran outside- about a week and feeling it already, can't wait to get my new trainers
On later and go for a run with Craig and Craig.
My fundraising has been going really well with lots of support and donations. For UJIA.
This Saturday I'm running at 10 hoping to do 11 miles making my body totally prepared for the 5th.
The best thing this week was my son Josh 2.5 years old putting on his dad's shorts and saying 'I want to go running like my daddy'.
Running is a lifestyle, raising money for charity should be part of that lifestyle too. Combining the two is amazing. If we can pass the philanthropic and healthy lifestyle message onto our children then it makes all the hard work worth it.

10.5 mile run
So I've added half a mile on to my longest run so far with 4 weeks to go to the Half marathon race.
Cross country with my running partner - mud, hills, road. 1 hour 40 minutes later and hobbled into the David Lloyd. Desperate for a jacuzzi to massage my legs!
Tonight they feel ok and now setting a fundraising page up to send out to people to hopefully raise money for an excellent charity called UJIA.
